Langres is a French classic that originates from the plateau of Langres in the region of the Champagne Ardenne, France. Surrounded by a white penicillium candidum rind, the central pate is a bit soft and crumbly, and appears creamy in colour. It is milder than Epoisses, but slightly salty with a strong smell. The firm pate melts in the mouth, leaving a complex taste!

Our Langres is awarded AOP ("Appellation d’Origine Protégée", which means Protected Designation of Origin). The AOP mark is the highest distinction awarded by the European Union and confirms the excellence of a product, its artisanship and unimpeachable quality.
