This very creamy, soft cheese is made at the foot of the Revard, above Lac du Bourget. It has a slightly salty flavour, with woody and milky aromas. Its unctuous texture makes this a generous cheese with a strong, lingering flavour.

La petite histoire: Moelleux du Revard is a young cheese: it was born in Savoie in 2008, in a workshop near Aix-les-Bains. Its creator, the Schmidhauser cheese dairy, was inspired by a cheese that had by then disappeared, the Vacherin des Bauges.
