Cantal is the oldest cheese from Auvergne and one of the oldest cheeses in France. It is named after the Cantal mountains. Cantal d'Entre Deux is aged between 3 to 9 months, and has the flavours of green pastures and aromas of butter and cream.

La petite histoire: Cantal dates back to the times of the Gauls. It came to prominence when it was served at the table of Louis XIV of France by Marshal Henri de La Ferté-Senneterre.

Our Cantal d'Entre Deux is awarded AOP ("Appellation d’Origine Protégée", which means Protected Designation of Origin). The AOP mark is the highest distinction awarded by the European Union and confirms the excellence of a product, its artisanship and unimpeachable quality.
